Breeding:  Some of these Fish Species will breed in a tank set up for them, be careful the adults will live anywhere from five to 10 years.

Compatibility:
Corydoras Catfish are community fish, they make good tank mates for Small Tetras & Livebearers such as Mollies, Swordtails, and Platies, or for Fancy Guppies. Angel Fish also do ok with Corydoras Catfish. Any large predator will eat them. Max 3 inches in size.

  1. The Fish Species will school with it's own Fish Species. You can mix the types but they shouldn't school together.
  2. Corys are always hungry, so they are constantly scavenging the bottom for bits of food.
  3. All Corydoras Catfish go to the surface from time to time and swallow air.
  4. Adults will live anywhere from five to 10 years.
  5. Most come from slightly cooler water, and many can be bred in home aquaria.

  1. Keep them in a nice sized group. (Minimum 4, 6 is better, 8-12 even better.)
  2. Corydoras Catfish enjoy schooling together.
  3. Best food are small sinking pellets made especially for catfish.

  1. Put them in with large predators, they will get eaten.
  2. Be careful even of slight water tempeture changes, they can be sensitive.
  3. Think they can clean the tanks all on there own, they will help a bit, but you still need to gravel wash & change water.
