A 285,000-gallon ocean tank contains brown, sandtiger, blacktip and nurse sharks swimming alongside brilliantly colored reef fish, eels, sea turtles and open ocean species.

Birch Aquarium at Scripps - La Jolla, CA
Since 1903, Scripps Institution of Oceanography has maintained an aquarium and museum dedicated to public education and enjoyment. The opening of the new Birch Aquarium at Scripps on September 16, 1992, continued the tradition at a new location situated on a hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Scripps Pier. Dallas World Aquarium - Dallas, TX
The aquarium features more than 85,000 gallons (321,800 l) of saltwater with marine life from around the world.
